Srinagar, Feb 03 (KNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesman Khalid Jehangir is attending the 3-day Counter-Terrorism Conference-2016 being held at Jaipur.
President Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated conference the on Tuesday and described the terrorism as “single gravest threat that humanity is facing today.”
Besides representatives of 25 countries other dignitaries who were invited to attend the conference include Dr Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Kalyan Singh, Governor of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Railways , national security Advisior (Nsa) Ajit doval , security think tanks , and important security and counter terrorism officers.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Jehangir was invited by the organizers as a delegate to present his views on emerging situation in Jammu Kashmir and apprise the participants about the steps being taken by the government and security agencies.
Jehangir while talking to KNS over phone from Jaipur said, “It’s an honour to represent Jammu Kashmir at such a high level conference. People are eager to know about Jammu Kashmir and the prevailing situation there, as jk is the victim of cross border terrorism.
