J&K Parties neither know to confront nor to reconcile with Modi Government: AIP

Srinagar August 23 (KNS):  Reacting to the response by various political parties from J&K over apprehensions of enrolling non locals into the voter list, Awami Ithad Party (AIP), has called the reaction as unfortunate, directionless and confused.

In a statement to Kashmir News Service (KNS),  Party Spokesperson Firdous Baba has said that whatsoever the leaders who attended or abstained from the All Party Meeting organized by Farooq Abdullah said over the subject was an attempt to confuse people further. The harsh reality was that the leaders of the political parties of J&K neither know how to confront nor know how to reconcile with Government of India with honour and dignity. He said that leaders were already leaders were to lead not create chaos.

Firdous Baba asked that how can there be anything more than the fact those now regional parties seemed their hopes on the national parties including Congress come to their rescue, who have already miserably failed when Article 370 was abrogated. Spokesperson remind these parties especially Congress, Shiv Senha, Akali Dal and other never said anything with the reality nor did anything which could have forced or persuaded Modi Government to stop its muscular policy. Kajriwal went to extend to favour dividing J&K into two UTs. He said that it looks, in absence of Hurriyat and other vibrant forces these parties just busy in trying to show lollypops only to remain relevant.

Spokesperson asked Farooq Abdullah that now when he was confessing That LG Manoj Sinha did not responded to call an all-party meeting, he owes an answer to people of j& k that why was he and others in hurry to attend all party meeting just after receiving a phone call from LG's and PMO to discuss the agenda that suits BJP.

Spokesman further asked Farooq Abdullah to explain Ghulam Nabi Azad's silence over the subject whom he has authorised him to speak on eve of all party meet with prime minister last year. Firdous Baba urged that those believed to be close to BJP, not to play the dobous role and suggested that they should meet BJP leaders in centre without hiding things. If they can persuade modi govt to stop experimenting new things in Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
