Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said costumers were unable to complete transactions at different branches of J&K Bank across the Kashmir Valley as system went down.

They said that the services were down at most places and costumers had to face lot of difficulties to do any transactions through cheques at different branches today.

They added that costumers had to leave the banks with doing any transaction even after spending all day at the bank branches.

Meanwhile, the costumers said that bank authorities have failed to improve the services even after facing these issues a lot of times in the recent past.

Notably, two days ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr last month, services of J&K including ATM and mPay services were down most of the time and costumers were put to lot of difficulties.

J&K Bank MD and CEO Baldev Prakash had told KNS that bank was upgrading its software and by the end of this month the upgrade will be complete.

He added that during the upgrade process costumers might have to experience interruptions and any inconvenience caused is regretted. (KNS)
