Srinagar, Jun 18 (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir Directorate of Colleges, Higher Education Department, on Thursday extended the last date for online fee submission for candidates allotted seats in Round-2 of the College/Major Allotment List for Undergraduate (UG) and Integrated PG admissions for the academic session 2026-27, officials said.
The fresh deadline for fee payment is June 22, 2026, till 2:00 PM, they added.
"Students who confirm their allotment shall report to their allotted colleges for physical verification of original documents till June 22, 2026, up to 4:00 PM," reads an official communiqué issued here.
The directorate has advised aspirants to regularly monitor the official JK Admissions Portal and follow the dedicated WhatsApp channel for real-time updates. The extension comes in the wake of multiple complaints regarding server congestion and payment gateway issues reported by students across the Union Territory.

"There was genuine difficulty faced by many candidates in completing the fee submission process due to high traffic on the portal. The decision to extend the timeline was taken to ensure no deserving student is left out," an official source told KNS.
All other terms and conditions specified in the Allotment Notice No: DC-HE/2026/1771 dated June 13, 2026, shall remain unchanged, the statement added.
The directorate has also directed the media units, including All India Radio and Doordarshan, to broadcast the advisory, while the Department of Information and Public Relations has been asked to publish the release in leading newspapers across the Union Territory. (KNS)
