Srinagar August 08 (KNS): The NSS Wing of the Islamia College Science and Commerce in collaboration with English weekly Valley Observer held a cleanliness drive at Alamgari Bazar Zadibal here on August 8.
A total of eighty students apart from the college staff participated in the event.
Dr Muhammad Amin Mir and Dr Nusrat Parveen NSS Officers were present on the occasion whereas the Chief NSS volunteer Qural Ul Ain led the student volunteers.
On behalf of the Valley Observer, Nasir Yousifi and Javed Ahmed were also present on the occasion. Refreshment was also distributed among the people on the occasion.
The locals hailed the role of Islamia college in the cleanliness drive as also of the Valley Observer.
