‘US has destabilized Middle East’

Srinagar, Mar 29 (KNS): National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah Tuesday said that India and Pakistan have to jointly fight terrorism for peace in the sub continent.
“If we have to establish peace in Jammu and Kashmir, the India and Pakistan have to extend hands of friendship toward each other. And fight against terrorism together,” Abdullah said while addressing NC workers at Nawai Subah office here.
The former chief minister said that it is welcome step that Pakistani probe team has come to India to get information and evidence about the Pathankot attack.
Abdullah said he has time and again said that terrorism will destroy the whole world and erase humanity on earth.
“I had warned the countries across the world in US and Britian that terrorism will destroy the world,” he said, while condemning the dastardly suicide attack in Lahore in which 35 people were killed and over 300 injured.
He said that US has created chaos in the world and destabilized the Middle East because of its policies.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He also said that all the routes that have been closed along the LoC between two divided Kashmirs should be opened so that the people across meet each other and share their pain and grief.
The NC president welcomed the new entrants to the party and asked them to work with honesty for the party and for the people.
Senior politician, Shabir Ahmad Mir from Tangmarg, who contested 2014 Assembly elections as independent candidate against NC senior leader Mustafa Kamal and DNP president Ghulam Hassan Mir joined NC in presence of hundreds of his workers.
Others who joined the NC included Kaisar Abas Jalali and Master Maqbool.
Former chief minister nad NC working president Omar Abdullah, NC general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani were also present during the joining. (KNS)
