Srinagar, Apr 06 (KNS): Forest department has seized a Tata mobile which was ferrying medium quantity of illicit timber in Marki Pora Dangiwacha area of Rafiabad in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to officials, the nakka was laid by the Forest officials led by Range Officer Rafiabad, Abdul Qayoom Malla along with Bo Payeen Mohd Altaf in the mid-night.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The officials said, around 9:30 pm a Tata mobile wide registration number JK02AE-7817 was seized and around 23.40cft illicit timber was also recovered from the Tata mobile.
However, taking advantage of darkness, the smugglers managed to escape.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Divisional Forests Officer Langate. (KNS)
