‘Case registered, manhunt launched to trace absconding owner’

Srinagar, Dec 02 (KNS): Police on Friday claimed to have identified the house where Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander, Zakir Rashid Bhat alias Musa had recorded the videos.
Police in a statement issued to KNS said that in its continuous crackdown on over ground networks of the militants, Awantipora police and 42 RR conducted an operation in Batipora Dadsara.
“During the operation, a house belonging to Mudasir Ahmed Gunoo son in law of late Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Mir was searched where forces found material and articles used by militants,” the statement reads.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
They said that during preliminary investigation, it was also established that HM militant Zakir @ Mosa used to record videos in one of the room of the said house. “Some clothes and other material used by Zakir@ Mosa in different videos and photographs were also recovered,” police said..
Police statement further adds that manhunt has been launched for the absconding owner while a case under FIR number 190 under different sections of RPC stands registered.
