Srinagar, June 16 (KNS): Demanding an impartial probe into the mysterious killing of a Bemina youth, Sheikh Tanvir Sultan in Kud, Hurriyat (M) Thursday said the unbridled power Indian forces enjoy due to AFSPA and other draconian laws is resulting in the killings of innocent people.
A delegation of senior Hurriyat (M) leaders led by Javed Ahmad Mir and including Abdul Rashid Untoo, Jaffar Kashmiri and Mir Imran visited the bereaved family of the Sheikh Tanvir Sultan at Bemina and expressed sympathy with them on behalf of the Hurriyat (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and the entire Hurriyat.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Terming his killing as a worst example of human rights violation, the Hurriyat (M) delegation said the state was practically being ruled by Police and Indian forces and restrictions on the movement of resistance leadership and oppression of the people had become a routine.
Expressing sympathy with the parents of the Sheikh Tanvir Sultan, the Hurriyat (M) delegation prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to him. (KNS)
