Srinagar, August 05 (KNS): While expressing its grief and sorrow over the killing of innocent civilians in the exchange of gun fire between Pakistani Rangers and Indian BSF personals, Hurriyat (G) Conference said that due to the pending dispute of Jammu & Kashmir, the two nuclear powers of South Asia are always in war gear and this situation can anytime take the shape of a volcano which will be out of control for anybody and it will burn the whole sub-continent.
Hurriyat (G) Conference appealed the policy makers of both the countries to show maturity and farsightedness in their attitudes and move forward in solving the long pending Kashmir dispute in and according to the wishes and aspirations of its people and face the ground realities instead of issuing traditional press statements. Hurriyat said that the Kashmir dispute is the basic cause of the persisting unpleasant relations and hostilities between the India and Pakistan so until this issue is settled according to its historical perspective, the instability and political uncertainty will continue to hurt the Sub-continent and both sides will continue to lose precious human lives. Hurriyat said that the two nations have so far fought three full scale wars over the Kashmir issue in which thousands of precious human lives were massacre and billions of dollars were wasted but all in vain and nothing came out of that. Kashmir was dispute before 68 years and it is still a harsh reality in 2015. In spite of so many efforts, neither has any change been reported in its status and nor are the Kashmiri people ready to surrender. Hurriyat further said that the Kashmir dispute is not only the cause of miseries for the people of Jammu & Kashmir but the millions of people of both India and Pakistan suffering and are feeling restlessness and uneasiness due to this issue and their development has also got stuck.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelBoth the nations are spending a major part of their budget on the defense utilities however millions of people are living the lives below poverty lines and are dying of starvation. Hurriyat conference said that all the efforts of patch works have failed in addressing the Kashmir issue so the time has come that the leadership of both the nations have to display courage and seriousness and move forward and work for the settlement of this dispute. This will be the most favour to the people of both the countries and the present rulers of India and Pakistan will write a new chapter in the world history.
Srinagar\05\\: While strongly condemning the harassment of the Muslims of the Pirpanjal region by the government machinery and the police, All Parties Hurriyat Conference cautioned that if this process continued then it will have very serious consequences. According to the Hurriyat the Immam Jamia Masjid Mandi Molvi Mohammad Amin Shah, Mohammad Farooq, Mohammad Hafizullah of Jallas, Mohammad Khalil and Azad Ahmad of Surankote are repeatedly summoned to the police stations and they are insulted and abused there and are also threatened. According to the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat official Qazi Mohammad Asgar, the said persons are being harassed because they had took part in the protests which erupted against the burning of a flag with Quranic verses written on that and they are now subjected to the vengeance. Hurriyat conference criticized the Mufti government for remaining silent over the anti Muslim movement of the communal forces in the Pirpanjal, Chenab and Jammu regions and he is not fulfilling his responsibilities in this regard. Hurriyat said that these incidents can trigger a strong reaction in Kashmir valley and people will be forced to come on roads.
