In an emailed statement issued to KNS, spokesperson of Hizbul Mujahideen Saleem Hashmi quoting Hizb supremo saying that the Aamir, Ashiq and Naveed whose bullet ridden bodies were recovered from orchards in Pattan on Monday “were killed in custody of SOG”.
Supporting Kashmir Band call of Syed Ali Geelani, Salahudin alleged that state agencies were behind the killings.
Salahudin, as per the spokesman, was addressing a Hizb command council in Muzaffarabad. He said that the three killed youth had recently joined HM. “They were killed by infamous task force,” statement quotes Salahudin as said.

“By terming the killing as rivalry between Lashkar-e-Islam and Hizb, government cannot hoodwink anybody, as the organisation in name of Lashkar-e-Islam is non-existent,” he said.
He said that if Indian government thinks that these ‘custodial killings’ of militants can weaken the freedom struggle, “that is Indian’s misconception”.
“The blood of martyrs will not go waste and killers will be brought to book,” he added.
Meanwhile, rich tributes were paid to the slain youth and Hizb chief expressed his condolences with the bereaved families.
