Srinagar, Dec 31 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir High Court today quashed the Public Safety Act slapped on Muslim League leader, Abdul Rashid Dar, by administration in Pulwama in during the last summer uprising.
Dar, a resident of Kulpora village in Pulwama district, was arrested in the first week of October this year by police and was subsequently slapped with PSA and shifted to Kathua Jail on 14 October 2016.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
After two months of imprisonment, Dar's PSA was today quashed by High Court's Justice M.H Attar. The pro-freedom leader was represented by his counsel Advocate Nisar Qadri in the court. (KNS)
