Asks PDP-BJP to remember its promise of border area development

Poonch, Jan 18 (KNS): National Conference today termed tall claims of Government of Jammu and Kashmir for inclusive developmental projects in border area a hollow claim and said that government is ignoring border areas while framing developmental plans.
Statement had been issued by Youth National Conference Provincial President Ajaz Jan while on visit to different border areas of Poonch.
During his visit of the border villages including, local people called upon Jan and appraised him of developmental crisis in their respective areas.
Locals especially decried poor healthcare services in their area and lack of Government initiatives to start new developmental projects in border areas.
Later, in his statement, Jan asked PDP and BJP to come concrete on its promise of inclusive development of border areas.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that during previous government, a number of developmental projects were started in border areas and schemes like BADP were implemented in letter and spirit but present government has neither started adequate new projects not bothered to ensure continuity and completion of works started by previous government.
He also alleged poor implementation of schemes meant for border area development.
He further said that state of work culture in government institutions in border areas is too poor and no one is paying attention over this.
Quoting the miseries of border population, Jan also asked Government of both India and Pakistan to open peace channel of talks and to prevent tension on borders which is claiming lives. (KNS)
