‘Human Rights violations at peak in Kashmir’

Srinagar, Nov 13 (KNS): Hurriyat (M) spokesman Sunday said the government forces were using oppressive and suppressive tactics, barbarism and brute force while declaring a full-scale war on the people in every part of Kashmir by ransacking residences, beating residents, and damaging homes while human rights violations were at their peak as night raids, arrests and detentions were continuing unabated.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (M) spokesman said while the ruling regime on one hand expresses great concern over the studies and future of of children of Kashmir on the other hand it's drive of arbitrary and random arrests against them continues unabated and unashamedly.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Students like Dawood Zargar are now even arrested from airports slapped with PSA and directly shifted to jails outside Kashmir. Police have also arrested 12 boys from Sozieth village in Budgam district in nocturnal raids, many among them students.
Hurriyat (M) spokesman said the government forces conducted raids in Tral, Bandipora, Sopore and Kupwara areas, including on Masjids and arresting innocent people and slapping them with PSA and dealing with protestors protesting against these incidents with brute force. (KNS)
