Srinagar, Aug 30 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former agriculture minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir Wednesday expressed concern over the current deteriorating ecological condition of world famous Dal Lake.
Mir told KNS that the government has neglected the Dal Lake at every front while its natural beautification with the absence of proper sanitation and other necessary processes is getting affected.
“The naturally producing weeds inside the Dal Lake are also not being unsoiled,” he said, adding that the day to day activities to make Dal Lake clean are also not visible.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that the government must shift the Dal dwellers to sanitize the Dal Lake properly.
Mir said that with the negligence of government, the image of the world famous Dal Lake is decline with each passing day. (KNS)
