Srinagar, Mar 02 (KNS): J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President, G. A. Mir Thursday expressed deep sorrow and anguish over the killing of a driver and a conductor identified as Abdul Gani Dar of Kreeri Dooru and Mudasir Ahmad Rather of Qazigund respectively.
According to the statement issued to KNS, JKPCC chief said that the duo were reported killed by some troller Driver at Sherbibi Jammu-Srinagar national highway late last night.
Strongly condemning these killings, Mir termed the incident as ‘most unfortunate’ in which two young person’s lost their lives.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
PCC President urged upon the state police to conduct an immediate enquiry into this incident and ensure that killers are punished as per the law of land.
He also impressed upon the Govt to provide compensation to bereaved families as the slain person’s belong to poor families. (KNS)
