Bandipora, Sept 11 (KNS): Former Minister and senior political leader Naeem Akhter has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of renowned artist Khazir Painter and teacher Qurat ul Ain from Bandipora.

In his condolence message, Akhter said that the passing away of Painter Khazir has left a void in the field of art and culture, as he was widely respected for his unique talent and contribution to preserving the artistic heritage of Kashmir. “A great loss to Bandipora and its artistic legacy. He also remembered Qurat ul Ain, a dedicated teacher, for her selfless service in shaping young minds with sincerity and commitment. “Her demise is a huge loss to the education fraternity and the society at large,” he said, adding “A great loss to Bandipora and its artistic legacy. She has left a deep mark on generations of students with her sincerity and commitment.”

Akhter extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
