Making poor employees to fetch on their own

Srinagar, Feb 10, (KNS): According to the employees’ salaries have been of hundreds of daily wagers, casual and need based labourers of Wular conservation and Management Authority (WUCMA) are starving along with their families and dependents as their salaries have not been paid since the uprising in Kashmir.
“Our earned wages have not been disbursed from July 2016 to January 2017 due to non-availability of funds as the funds have unjustly been withheld by the secretary forest department for unknown reasons,” an employee said adding “We are facing extreme hardships due to the immense injustice of the secretary forest department who has blocked the budget file of WUCMA for more than seven months now.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
The daily wagers have appealed the Chief Minister, Forest Minister and MOS Forests to personally intervene in the matter and get the wages of the poor daily rated workers released.
“Only they can salvage our families from hunger and starvation which has been thrust on us due to the callous attitude of the forest secretary who is wholly responsible for all this injustice. About 126 Daily rated workers and labourers of WUCMA have been left for lurch.” (KNS)
