Srinagar, Oct 31 (KNS): The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Khan has directed the deputy commissioners to keep watch on booksellers who are selling books to children on exorbitant rates.
In a communique to all Deputy Commissioners, the Divisional Commissioner has said that he has received a complaint about booksellers selling books on exorbitant rates.
The communique says "there has been complaint regarding sale of school level books for school children on exorbitant rates.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIt has been intimated that booksellers are charging higher rates than otherwise prescribed. In this connection you are directed to constitute teams for verification and also take necessary action against such booksellers who are resorting to such act, under intimation to the undersigned."
