Srinagar, Jan 10 (KNS): The Enforcement Directorate has summoned National Conference president and Member of Parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah tomorrow for questioning in a money laundering case, officials said on Wednesday.
Officials told KNS that he has been called for questioning in case linked to alleged irregularities in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).
He was chargesheeted by Enforcement Directorate in the case in 2022.
The case relates to siphoning off funds of JKCA by way of transfer to various personal bank accounts of unrelated parties.
Officials said that Abdullah has been asked to report at Enforcement Directorate office in Srinagar tomorrow. (KNS)
