Srinagar Apr 06 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah today greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr.
In a message, Dr Farooq Abdullah said that this Holy night provides us an opportunity to pray for Almighty’s blessings and strive for being compassionate, pious and dutiful. “It is this unique and holy night when Almighty Allah chose to reveal the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for the guidance of mankind.”
Omar Abdullah in a separate message said that the occasion provides an opportunity to us to spend the night in praying and seeking forgiveness and blessings from Allah.
Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah wished prosperity and peace to the people and prayed for the well-being and welfare of the people.
Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mr. Omar Abdullah also extended their felicitations to devotees no the occasion of Urs of Great Sufi Saint, Alamdar-e-Kashmir, Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani (RA) and said his teachings and spiritual legacy was the guiding light of the state’s rich traditions of sufism and spirituality.
