Srinagar, Jul 18 (KNS): The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Tuesday slammed the state administration for not allowing Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq Sahib to participate in the funeral prayers of his uncle Tariq Ahmad Buchh and termed it extremely shameful and heartless act.

On the occasion, Tari addressed the condolence gathering and shed light on the philosophy of life and death. Lashing out at authorities for disallowing Mirwaiz from participating in his uncle’s funeral prayers, Tari said, “Now, we have to face state-sponsored suppression for participating in funeral prayers of our own people. This act very much symbolises the slavery.”
Extending condolence on behalf of Shabir Ahmad Shah, Moulana Tari said he (Shah) also has been under continuous house detention since last four years and during this period many of his close relatives including uncles and aunts passed away but the heartless authorities didn’t allow him to participate in performing the last rites.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
