Srinagar, Sep 05 (KNS): The Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Cum Dealers Association (KVFG) on Monday said that Home Ministers Rajnath Singh who claimed to met with fruit growers of the valley is not based on facts and is a white lie.
In a statement issued to KNS, chairman of the association, Bashir Ahmad Basheer said, the statement of Rajnath Singh is complete false which is strongly condemned and rejected by the Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Union.
The KVFG Union is an Elected Apex Body of all fruit Associations of the Valley viz. Fruit Association Srinagar, Sopore, Baramulla, Handwara Kupwara, Ganderbal, Charar-i-Sharief Budgam, Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama, Anantnag, Jablipora, Pachar.
Chairman of the forum said that almost 70% of the population of the Valley are directly or indirectly connection with the fruit Industry of the State the affairs of which is looked in by the KVFG Union exclusively being an governing body of the all fruit Associations of the Valley and it was earlier unanimously decided by all the Associations not to take part in All Party Delegation meeting and have therefore made it public through print media well before arrival of the Delegation that fruit growers of the Valley are not meeting with the APD.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Thus statement of Rajnath claiming presence of fruit growers of the Valley in the All Party Delegation meet is complete false and is rejected by the Union with strongest condemnation.
The KVFG union is of the opinion that the State government have called its employees and paid agents and presented them in All Party Delegation with the label of fruit growers of the Valley. “The Statement of Rajnath regarding presence of the Fruit growers of the Valley in the APD meet is false and while lie and the general public is informed that no fruit growers from the Valley have participated in the APD Meet,” he said.
