Srinagar, May 13 (KNS): The District Congress Committee (DCC) Srinagar held a meeting of Senior Party Leaders, Block Presidents and Prominent Workers to discuss Organizational Affairs and activities in Srinagar District

The DCC expressed profound grief over the passing away of Senior Party Leader Ch. Bashir Ahmad Naaz and also condemned strongly the incident of rape of three year old in Bandipora District.

Threadbare discussions over the current situation in Srinagar District and elsewhere in Kashmir Valley were held. Many important issues of public importance also came under discussion.

The DCC also held a condolence meeting over the sad demise of Senior Congress Leader Ch. Bashir Ahmad Naaz Former Minister & Vice Chairman Gujjar Bakerwal Board J&K and expressed profound grief over this demise.

The DCC paid rich tributes to Ch. Bashir Naaz and described him a loyal and dedicated Party Leader who remained committed to the cause of strengthen the people and Party, all along his life.

The meeting conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.

The meeting was presided over by DCC President Iran Naqib and attended by Senior Party Leaders, BPs PCC DCC Members and others. (KNS)
