CPI (M) holds one-day convention in Kulgam

Expresses regret at Govt’s ‘failure’ to meet peoples’ aspirations

CPI (M) held a one-day convention of district Kulgam in which more than a thousand basic members of the district participated.
In a statement to KNS a spokesman of the party said among others, MLA Kulgam, M.Y. Tarigami and the State Secretary G.N. Malik addressed the convention. The speakers criticized the coalition government for its utter failure to address the basic issues faced by the common people. They alleged that the PDP-BJP dispensation has not only failed to resolve the burning political and economic issues including post flood rehabilitation and reconstruction; it has also not been able to provide ration, drinking water and power to the people who had pinned hopes with the new government which made great promises after it took over.
After a thorough interaction, the convention resolved to strengthen the party and educate the members regarding the ideology, progamme and activities, which aim at changing the entire politico-economic system.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
