Srinagar, Aug 08 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha Sunday said that his administration was committed to ensure peace and development in the region and the militants and their supporters will not be spared. 

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, LG Sinha was Addressing a function in Kund area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, Sinha said that Kashmir is a land of Sufi Saints and his administration was committed to ensure peace and development in the region.

He said that there is no place for violence and militancy in the region as it is a place of Sufi Saints and militants will not be spared.

Sinha said that his administration was committer to promote the vision of Sufi saints and there is no place for any sort of violence in the region.

He also urged the religious heads to play a key role so that the youth who tread a wrong path are prevented from doing so. 

While praising Tanvir Khan, son of Rickshaw puller who cracked Indian Economic Service (IES), Sinha said that he made the people of J&K feel proud and youth must take a cue from him to choose a better future for themselves. (KNS)
