Srinagar, August 4 (KNS): National Front Working Committee today stressed upon people and the pro-freedom leadership to come forward unanimously to defeat the “Indian evil designs of settling ex-army men in Kashmir, terrifying the Jammu Muslims, fresh arrest spree in the valley and last but not the least to rein in the activities of Hindu extremist forces in every nook and corner of Jammu Kashmir.”
In a statement to KNS a spokesman of the party said National Front Working Committee met as its chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan on chair to discuss the prevailing political situation of the state.
“The committee also discussed some important party affairs during the meeting. Working Committee members put forth their viewpoint and suggestions in front of Khan, who in his address said that he respected and honoured the perspective of the members regarding the growing activities of the Hindu extremist forces in Muslim Jammu Kashmir,” he said.
Quoting Khan he said, “It is an age old conspiracy of these forces to somehow change the demography of Jammu Kashmir to the extent that Muslim voices are crushed easily. However, majority Muslims have at all times routed these evil designs by means of their unanimous, undisputed and undivided resolve for freedom. People and the pro-freedom leadership are once again required to collectively face the new challenges of Hindu extremism.”
Khan said that any attempt against the demography of Muslim Jammu Kashmir should be dealt with united strong hands and a strategy in this regard should be chalked out immediately.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe assured the Working Committee members that pro-freedom leadership will chalk out a programme to safeguard the Muslim character of the state. He also assured the Muslims living in Chinab Valley and Pir Panchal regions that their brethren in the Valley will not leave them alone against the extremists.
Khan expressed very serious concern over the fresh arrest spree of pro-freedom activists, leaders and common youth alleging that New Delhi and its local collaborators deliberately try to create a situation of terror and harassment.
“India under the influence of RSS, VHP, Shiv Sena and all other likeminded outfits is trying to silent the pro-freedom voices of Kashmir by using force,” Khan alleged adding that New Delhi is thinking that it can overcome the pro-freedom Kashmiri people by using suppressive measures.
However, he said, “World has time and again witnessed Kashmiri’s resolve for freedom.” He said that keeping in view the freedom sentiments of Jammu Kashmir Muslims, India at the end will have to accept that Jammu Kashmir is a disputed territory and it has to be resolved according to the wishes and aspirations of its people by means of a referendum. Khan said, “This is the only democratic way out to resolve a political dispute like Kashmir and guarantee and stable south Asian region.”
