Baramulla, August 3 (KNS): The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Baramulla has issued a directive banning unauthorized videography inside government hospitals and health institutions in the district.
As per the official order (Y No:- CMOB/5932-97, Dated: 02/08/2025), the CMO observed that individuals have been entering hospital premises and recording videos without prior approval from the competent authority. The order states that such activities interfere with patient privacy and disrupt the functioning and discipline of healthcare institutions.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The directive instructs all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) under the CMO’s jurisdiction to strictly enforce the prohibition. Videography within any hospital premises is now only permitted with written authorization from higher authorities.
The CMO said the order is intended to ensure a secure and uninterrupted environment for both patients and healthcare staff.(KNS).
