It has been made very clear to the Kashmiri leadership that those who wont yield in front of the autocratic regime either would be slapped with false cases, sent to jails in India or held captive under PSA's. The present day state of functioning of Government at Center would forever leave a black mark over India's democratic credentials. If this is what is happening in India's top court, where can one hope to get justice? A country which claims to be a democracy should have no place for such draconian laws which not only violate people's rights but have tremendous scope of being misused, said party Spokesperson Sheeban Ashai. We denounce the use of repressive laws for stifling legitimate political dissent, to book PUF leader and JKPM President Shah Faisal under PSA is absolutely unjustified.
