In an attempt to maintain the sanity of scenic as well as tourist pilgrim spots namely Bhaderwah department of tourism through Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) launched sanitation week from 15 September to 22 September 2015. The launching function was organized in community hall Bhaderwah which was attended by Hon’ble MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta, Chief executive officer Baderwah Development authority, Bal Krishan, Amit Bhasin additional superintendent of Police Baderwa, Fayaz Ahmad AEE, Aamir Rafiqi and other officers also attended the function.
In a statement to KNS, while speaking on the occasion all orators emphasis gave to work together to make Baderwah a clean destination for tourists.

Hon’ble MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta appreciated the steps taken by Tourism department and promises for his all sport to develop Bhaderwah in all spheres. Others who spoke on the occasion included Mast Nath Yogi, Manjeet Razdan, Mohammad Iqbal chowdhary, Shabir Ahmad chowdhary, Anie Madam Principal boys Higher secondary school Baderwah, Amit Bhasin ASP and school children. Votes of thanks were presented by Fayaz Ahmad Mehta assistant executive engineer Bhaderwah development authority. Later a rally comprising of political leaders, senior citizens and school children, Sub divisional officers and Safai karamcharies of municipal committee Bhaderwah was also organized from community hall to link road Rainda Bhaderwah and slogan to make Bhaderwah in particular and whole India in general neat and clean.
