Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS) : Commissioner Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department Ram Niwas Sharma on Sunday directed education officials to ensure a supportive environment at examination centres as around 2.7 lakh students prepare to appear for the annual Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) examinations for Classes 10, 11 and 12, beginning Monday.
Emphasising the need to help students cope with examination-related stress, CS Sharma as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) asked Chief Education Officers (CEOs) and Complex Heads to ensure a congenial atmosphere at examination centres and provide effective counselling to examinees.
In a message to students ahead of the examinations, Ram Niwas Sharma urged them to remain confident, focused and believe in their preparation.
“Exam Warriors, shed your worries, stay confident and focused. Believe in yourself and give your best. Best wishes to all!” he said.
Sharma said the success of students remained the School Education Department’s top priority, underlining the importance of creating an environment in which examinees could take their papers without unnecessary stress.
The annual JKBOSE examinations are scheduled to commence Monday across the Kashmir Valley and the winter-zone areas of the Jammu division. (KNS)
