Srinagar, Nov 10 (KNS): Former Deputy Mayor Srinagar Sheikh Mohammad Imran on Thursday strongly criticised incumbent Deputy Mayor Parvez Qadiri for using government machinery for  ulterior motives while trying impede the impartial course of action by the law.

Taking to microblogging site Twitter, Sheikh wrote that the person, reffering to Parvaiz Qaidiri, who is chargesheeted in under FIR no. 05/2019 u/s 332/506 at Police Station Shaheed Gunj should be questioned & tried for his crimes rather than giving him chance to manipulate the evidence & intimidate the witnesses.

"The government machinery cannot be used by him to create pressure in order to strangulate the voices of people who try to speak up for injustices committed by him. "Such privileges often try to haze the truth. I hope action is taken at the earliest," Imran said.

Imran further asserted that such hegemonic behaviour needs to change if transparency is to prevail while adding that FIR No. 08/2015 U/S 420, 468, 471, 120-B RPC & FIR No. 28/2019 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC are two separate complaints that have been registered against Parvez Qadiri which points toward clossal frauds & deceit.

"Not only these three complaints but Parvez Qadiri is drowned neck deep into these scams where even certain complaints are being submitted in Buchpora Police Station besides defamatory & criminal complaints in Shaheed Gunj Police station which is enough to prove that adminstration needs to take stringent action promptly to save people from being cheated," he said.

This comes after Sheikh Mohammad Imran launched a campaign against corruption where he named Parvez Qadiri in numerous cases related with Corruption.(KNS)
