Baramulla, Oct 12 (KNS): Baramulla Police have seized eight vehicles during a naka checking operation at Mirgund here as part of a continued drive to enforce traffic regulations and ensure compliance with road safety norms, officials said on Monday.
The seized vehicles include four tippers bearing registration numbers JK13-4310, JK02BN-5571, JK01R-5527 and JK05M-4930; two Tata Mobiles bearing registration numbers JK15B-4834 and JK05J-9914; one tractor and one motorcycle, they said.
According to the officials, all eight vehicles were seized under Section 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act for violations relating to prescribed requirements and for operating without valid documents.
Baramulla Police reiterated their commitment to enforcing traffic laws and urged all vehicle owners and drivers to carry valid documents and comply with statutory requirements the officer further added. (KNS)
