Srinagar,  Sep 14:(KNS)  A painting cum drawing competition was held in Seer area of Pattan in North Kashmir's Baramulla on Tuesday. 

The event was organised by a well known social activist from Rajouri, named Chowdhary Rabiya Shafiq, under the banner of "Let's Reach".

Around 40 students have participated in the competition, who were encouraged with certificates and other gifts. 

On that occasion, Dr. Umair Khan was the chief guest in the event, who did free oral check up to all the participants, while Bilal Ahmad, owner Hanfia School, was the guest of honour. 

During the event, Chowdhary Rabiya Shafiq made participants aware about first aid and COVID-19, and distributed masks, sanitizers, stationary items and other relevant things among them. 

She said that she "will organise" more events in future, "particularly in far off areas, to boost the talent of school children."(KNS)
