Budgam, Oct 10 (KNS): Outgoing Deputy Commissioner Budgam Athar Aamir Khan on Saturday credited the district administration's collective efforts for the achievements made during his tenure, describing its officers and officials as one of the finest teams he had worked with.

Khan made the remarks at a farewell function organised by the district administration following his transfer to a new assignment. Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Vivek Agarwal and Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Afroza Bano, who have also been transferred, were accorded farewell at the function.

Addressing the gathering, Khan expressed gratitude to officers and officials for their cooperation, dedication and professional commitment during his tenure in the district.

"The achievements made during my tenure are a result of the collective efforts, hard work and professional commitment of the entire team. I sincerely appreciate every officer and official for their dedication, teamwork and willingness to go the extra mile in the interest of public service," he said.

Expressing confidence in the district administration, Khan said he hoped the officers and officials would continue working with the same dedication and commitment.

"I am confident that the team will continue to work with the same spirit, dedication and commitment and take the district forward," he said.

Senior Superintendent of Police Budgam Hariprasad KK, who attended the function, appreciated the coordination maintained by the outgoing officers with the police administration.

He said their collaborative approach had helped strengthen interdepartmental coordination and improve the delivery of public services.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Budgam Mehraj-ud-Din Shah also acknowledged the contributions of the transferred officers, particularly their accessibility, administrative guidance and emphasis on the timely resolution of public grievances.

Other senior officers and officials appreciated the services rendered by Khan, Agarwal and Bano during their respective tenures and extended their best wishes for their new assignments.
