One injured shifted to Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 30 (KNS): Around 50 civilians were injured during clashes with government forces on Friday at Nadihal in Baramulla district.
According to KNS correspondent, residents of the area had decided to hold Friday congregational prayers at Nadihal area in a local Eid prayer ground.
Eyewitnesses told KNS that Police, STF and CRPF came and restored to pellet and teargas shelling during which around 50 persons were injured.
They said that some of the injured were shifted to district hospital Baramulla, while one among the injured namely Ashiq Ahamd Lone s/o Gh Ahmad Lone was shifted to Srinagar’s hospital.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHowever, KNS was not able to confirm in which hospital he was shifted.
Locals alleged, “We were not protesting or engaged in stone throwing, forces came and termed their shelling as unprovoked.”
Meanwhile, clashes erupted in Baramulla, where people took out a peaceful pro freedom rally which was foiled by government forces. (KNS)
