Srinagar, October 18 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Awami National Conference (ANC) has announced organizational restructuring aimed at reinforcing its grassroots presence across the Union Territory.

According to a statement issued to KNS reads that the move, directed by the General Secretary and conveyed to the Provincial President, marks a significant step toward enhancing internal coordination, inclusivity, and representation of local voices within the party.

The restructuring involves the reconstitution of Block Presidents and their executive committees to create a stronger and more connected framework at the local level. The initiative focuses on building a more people-centric and accountable structure that reflects the aspirations of diverse communities across Jammu and Kashmir.

ANC leadership emphasized that the reorganization demonstrates the party’s commitment to participatory politics and its resolve to empower grassroots leadership. By strengthening district, block, halqa, and mohalla-level units, the party aims to ensure more effective outreach, faster response to public concerns, and better coordination in political activities.

All provincial, district, and block units have been instructed to implement the new structure immediately and work collectively to translate the party’s vision into action.(KNS)
