Bandipora, 18 Oct (KNS) : A cow straying into the emergency section of the District Hospital Bandipora on Saturday afternoon sparked amusement and concern after a video of the incident surfaced on social media.
Hospital authorities said the animal had entered the emergency area briefly before being moved out. Medical Superintendent District Hospital Bandipora, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, said the hospital administration took note of the lapse and warned the security staff.
“We have warned them against any lapse and will ensure security is tightened further,” Mukhtar Ahmad said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Commenting on the viral video, the Medical Superintendent said the youth who recorded it “made it look like an amusement rather than acting as a responsible citizen.”
Hospital officials added that such incidents were rare but attributed the breach to a brief absence of guards due to an emergency call.
The hospital administration also claimed to have registered a complaint at the police station in Bandipora.(KNS)
