Srinagar, May 05 (KNS): Director General of Police (DGP), Shesh Pal Vaid on Saturday termed the killing of a youth, Adil Ahmad as accidental death.
Talking to KNS, DGP said that the youth were pelting stones on forces at Noorbagh area of Srinagar today during which a youth came under the police vehicle at Noorbagh, resulting in his death. “It was an accidental death,” DGP said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that the FIR has been lodged in this regard and legal action has been initiated against the driver.
Giving details about the encounter, DGP stated that during the operation three militants were killed while as an Assistant commandant of CRPF including two security personnel, Deputy Superintendent of Police and one police personnel sustained injuries. (KNS)
