Srinagar, Sep 6 (KNS): The mother of senior bureaucrat Tariq Hussain Ganie, IAS, Managing Director of Jammu and Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL), passed away at SMHS Hospital on Saturday evening following a prolonged illness, family sources said.

The deceased will be laid to rest at the family graveyard in Ganie Mohalla, Mattan, Anantnag.

The Nimaz-e-Janaza will be offered at 10 pm on Saturday, according to family sources.

Ganie was recently inducted into the Indian Administrative Service and is presently serving as Managing Director of JKMSCL.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Several political leaders and public representatives expressed condolences to Ganie and his family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

KNS Editor-in-Chief Mohammad Aslam Bhat also expressed condolences to Tariq Hussain Ganie and his family over the bereavement.

Bhat conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty grant the departed soul eternal peace and give the family strength to bear the loss.(KNS)
