Banihal, Nov 14 (KNS): Expressing his serious concern on the issues being faced by the people of hilly and backward area of state in particular and his assembly in general former minister and member legislative assembly Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani today address a huge public gathering after holding officials Darbar here at Paristan Banihal.
SDM Ramsu Er Waqar Ahmad Giri, Tehsildar Ukerhal Niyaz Ahmad Wani and the officers of local and district administration was also present in public Darbar.
After reaching first time by road MLA Banihal according to the statement issued to KNS, was given rousing reception by the public of this back corner of Banihal assembly segment where local residents hail the efforts of local MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani for fulfilling his poll promise of providing road connectivity to the Paristan area.
During the day long detailed public darbar at paristan Vikar Rasool Wani take detailed review of different departments and listen the grievances of public and strictly directed the HOD's of different departments to ensure the timely redressal public issues including restoration of water supply, required poles for hassle free electricity funds construction road from Paristan to Hochack, compensation for locals and various other minor issues related to the general public.
While speaking during the public rally organized by the locals of the area MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani highlighted the achievements of his tenure as MLA and minister of state for the welfare of this area.
He assured the gathering that his sole aim is to minimize the public sufferings.
MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani released Rs 12.00 lacs for construction of additional accommodation at govt Girls high school Paristan on public demand. and also directed the Aee PHE and PDD Banihal to provide required pipes and poles for the area as approached by the public in public darbar.
MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool said that the hilly areas of state got completely ditched by present PDP BJP government, as the present regime has ignored the development of these backward areas.
He urged upon the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to come on the expectations of these poor people Ss that their issues get timely resolved and innocent public can not suffer more. (KNS)
