Anantnag, Sep 7 (KNS): Senior Superintendent of Police Anantnag Amod Ashok Nagpure on Monday held a Thana Divas at Police Station Srigufwara, where people from adjoining areas raised various issues and grievances.

A large number of residents participated in the public interaction and brought police-related and other civic matters to the notice of the SSP, officials said.

The SSP said such public interaction programmes were aimed at strengthening police-public relations and providing people with a platform to raise their grievances.

He also directed the officers and officials present to remain accessible to the public and ensure prompt and effective resolution of genuine grievances, officials said.(KNS)
