Release political prisoners, restore internet services: Mir to Govt

 Srinagar, Jan 23 KNS: Democratic Party Nationalist Chief Ghulam Hassan Mir today demanded release of political prisoners besides restoration of internet services in J&K.

 
He said that it is stand of his party that all the prisoners who have been lodged in different jails outside the state should be brought back to J&K.
 
Regarding the internet restrictions, he said that these restrictions are hurting the business interests of people of J&K.
 
“It is important to lift these restrictions at the earliest. Business has already been hit due to present situation,” he said.
 
He also demanded special air service facility for the people stranded at Jammu from many days due to frequent closure of national highway. 
 
Mir added that they raised these issues with Lt Governor Grish Chander Murmu during a meeting with him at Jammu recently. The Lt Governor had assured us that he will look into all these issues positively, he said.
