Rampore, Anantnag deserves backward status: JKPM leader

Anantnag, Apr 19 (KNS): JKPM Leader and Supreme Court Advocate Syed Iqbal Tahir has assured people of Rampore, Anantnag that he would pursue their demand for grant of backward status.

Interacting with a deputation of the Karewa Rampora village of Anantnag district, during his day long visit to area, Tahir Iqbal assured that the demand of the people regarding augmentation of drinking water supply in the area shall also be bought in to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag.

The people also complained about the lack of adequate public transport facility in the area causing tremendous inconvenience to the commuters particularly during winter and rainy seasons. They also demanded macadamization of shortcut road between Gopalpora and Rampora via Kongrsu villages.

JKPM Leader Syed Iqbal Tahir assured the people of Rampora that JKPM will earnestly pursue for redressal of their problems. He made a fervent appeal to the local youth to contribute in conservation of ecology and environment in their respective areas to further enhance aesthetic ambience of the village Rampora. (KNS)
