Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Ab Qayoom Wani has expressed deep shock and grief over the sad demise of Grand Mufti of J&K Moulana Bashir Ud Din who breathed his last at SKIMS Soura.
Wani while paying rich tributes to Mufti Azam said that that Mufti Azam Mufti Bashir Ud Din was a great Islamic scholar, a pious Muslim besides a social worker and has served the whole community of J&K state with zeal and zest.
Wani said that we have lost a kind hearted religious preacher, a social worker and a noble human being.
While describing the rich contributions of to the departed soul, PDP leader said that the contribution of Grand Mufti in social and religious fields can't be forgotten and will be remembered forever.. 
Wani showed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family espacially Moulana Nasir ul Islam the son of Grand Mufti.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. (KNS)
