Srinagar, May 15 (KNS): Executive member of Muslim Personal Law Board Manzoor Ahmad Kirmani Wednesday condemned the rape of a minor girl in Bandipora district, urging authorities to act tough against the culprit.

Addressing a presser at his residence in Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, Kirmani said that it is unfortunate that those involved in such kind of heinous crimes are not being dealt with strictly. “A similar case of Tabinda is glaring example of delay in justice where culprits were sentenced to death but the orders are yet to be implemented,” he said.

He said that authorities must act tough against the culprits so that such acts will be stopped. (KNS)
