Anantnag, Oct 4 (KNS): Agriculture Minister Javid Ahmad Dar on Sunday inaugurated a new Barista Hybrid Cafe at Mattan Main Chowk in Anantnag district and called for greater focus on youth entrepreneurship and employment generation.

MLAs Reyaz Ahmad Khan, Bashir Ahmad Veeri and Zafar Ali Khatana, besides other prominent persons, were present on the occasion.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dar said the growing tourist and visitor footfall in Kashmir was creating opportunities in the hospitality and service sectors, particularly for young entrepreneurs.

Dar said the government was promoting youth entrepreneurship in the hospitality and allied sectors through various schemes, including PMFME, Mission Yuva and other UT-level initiatives.

He urged young people to make use of these schemes and explore viable business opportunities based on local demand and emerging markets.

The minister congratulated the management of the Barista Hybrid Cafe and appreciated the initiative to establish the outlet at Mattan.

He said such investments could encourage more young people to take up entrepreneurship and create employment opportunities locally.(KNS)
