Police Station Magam recognised for adopting Digital Beat Policing System

Budgam, Oct 9 (KNS): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Sujit K Singh on Friday felicitated Budgam Police personnel for busting a fake employment racket and introducing the Digital Beat Policing System, recognising their efforts towards effective investigation and technology-driven policing.

According to news agency KNS, the IGP distributed commendation certificates, appreciation letters and rewards among police personnel of Budgam district for their professional dedication and contributions towards strengthening public safety and policing.

The felicitation ceremony was held in the presence of Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Central Kashmir Range, Rajiv Pandey.

Among those felicitated were SSP Budgam Hariprasad K K, SDPO Magam Ashrif Lissery, SHO Police Station Beerwah Mudassir Nassar, SHO Police Station Magam Khurshid Awan and 17 other police personnel.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The team of Police Station Beerwah was recognised for its role in exposing a fake employment syndicate, while Police Station Magam received appreciation for adopting the Digital Beat Policing System.

The initiative was acknowledged as a step towards strengthening technology-driven, efficient and citizen-centric policing.

The recognition highlighted the importance of proactive investigation, professional commitment and technological innovation in improving police functioning and ensuring public safety.
