Leh, Oct 4 (KNS): A health walk-run was organised in Leh on Sunday under the “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – 100 Sundays Campaign” to promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles and a substance-free life among youth.
The event, themed “My Health, My Pride”, commenced from Sangya Namgyal Chowk and was flagged off by Bhanu Prabha, Administrative Secretary, School Education, Higher Education and Skill Development, UT of Ladakh.
More than 800 youths, MY Bharat volunteers, officials and members of the community participated in the walk-run.
During the event, participants were engaged through Nukkad Nataks, cultural activities and awareness messages highlighting the importance of healthy living and staying away from substance abuse.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
A mass pledge was also administered, with participants reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle and supporting the vision of a Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat.
Welcoming the participants, Tajamul Ara, State Director, MY Bharat Ladakh, appreciated the enthusiastic participation of youth and thanked officers and officials of the UT of Ladakh for their coordination and support.
The event culminated at NDS Ground, Leh, where a concluding programme was held.(KNS)
