Jammu, Jan 16 (KNS): MLA Kargil Asgar Ali Karbalaie along with Congress MLAs staged a walkout over the delay in release of funds for tourism promotional schemes in Kargil area of Ladakh region of the State.
According to the KNS correspondent, Karbalaie alleged that since last two years government has been promising release of funds for tourism promotional schemes in Kargil area but funds have not been released. He threatened to continue the protests within and outside the assembly against the delay in release of funds for tourism promotional schemes for Kargil area till the government concedes his demand.
Intervening in the debate the Congress MLA Deldan Namgiyal told the house the if allowed to hold the charge as minister just for one day show the results. (KNS)
